And wouldn't you know it, there's a new Brothers Donathan comic up. It's another wordy one, so if my adventures in drawing "Pirates" have shown me anything, most of you won't read it. Writing six poems, each in a different voice - combined with the past two months of continously working at film school - yielded this comic late by quite some time, for which I apologize.
With that said, I hope to have comics for Wednesday and Friday considering I'm on vacation this week. After that, we'll go from there, but I'm really looking forward to seeing Brothers Donathan wrap up. As much as I like it, it's been the highlight for way too long. I figure it's about half done as is, and if I just work hard on it, I can finish it in about a couple months.
I feel the need to talk about the Oscars last night. Let me point out by saying that I didn't like Brokeback Mountain, but I was ready to accept that it was going to win best picture, since it was winning all the other major awards leading up to it. Then! Crash won! Honestly, I didn't like that one very much either, but the fact is, I wasn't ready for it. I need to decompress. Outside that, a huge congratulations to Philip Seymour Hoffman!
...Also to Three 6 Mafia, because, y'know, why not?
That's all for now, see you cats on Wednesday.
City Limits!
I'm sure a bunch of you have seen this around, so I'll make the official announcement here as well.
City Limits is available for preorder! It's a comic anthology about the fictional city, Port du Ciel, and all the stories and characters that take place there.
Who's in it?
Brian Carroll (www.instantclassic.net)*
*Gotta love alphabetical lists!
The book is now available for preorder and will be released in May. Just go to the official site and scroll to the bottom. Also on the page, you'll find preview pages for the stories in the book. From what I've seen from the book so far, it's well worth it!
