The comic is up and yes, it's a tad wordy. And yes, it makes the biggest jump thus far into the actual lore and interconnectedness of my ideal IC world. Becuase of this, this comic may be a tad jarring to the novice reader, but I love it so.

This update was a tad late, but I'm back in classes! So, naturally, comics will only come from the availability of extra time. This will come especially true in January, as I'm taking a class in which I'll be doing 7-10 hour film shoots, four days a week. So, warning in advance! Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you

Well, it's been a long time since I've posted anything. I've posted drawings and little things in my journal, but nothing in the form of a full fledged comic. The reason, however, was because of heavy demand from my latest film production class.

But that is mostly over and done with by now. So hopefully I'll be able to finish up Brothers Donathan, which has been going on for far too long now (almost a year, yikes!)

I've also been working on a couple comic projects that cannot be announced yet but hopefully I'll be able to give you more information on them as I'm allowed to.

So yea, consider this an update on the current state of things. No comics yet, but sooon. An Announcement!

Well, it looks as though my love of filmmaking has officially trumped my love for comic-making. I've been in heavy production lately for all sorts of films and I'm in preproduction for my spring projection (which, fingers crossed, will all be on sweet sweet 16mm film).

This is not to say that the comic is ending. No no no, quite the opposite. This is more of an explanation of why the absence has occured. I do have the next comic about 75% done. It's a comic that's been in production for about two months now and is heavily reliant on the written word which automatically makes it one of my favorites.

So yes, the comic will be starting up again but I make no promises as to my dedication to it - which is sad, because I really do enjoy doing it. I just love filmmaking more, ya dig?

However! As a token of that very love for filmmaking - the Lobsterback Entertainment site is officially launched after two years! It catalogues my own films and will eventually be a way of getting people to see them.

What's the occasion? Well, this summer will be the first year for the Dionysia Film Festival, a little thing I've been planning behind the scenes which is more or less what the ill-fated IC-Festival from two years ago has turned into. ConnectiCon'06 will be hosting the event on July 8th. Rules and more information to follow!
